What defines life?
Life is about journey
So many mysteries that cannot be solved
So many uncertainties that cannot be unfold
And so many words that cannot be told
As the light at the end of a tunnel shows what we will be
But maybe there’s this time, when we got no signs
And our hope seems to be obscure
It never glows like a rusty blade
When our struggle turns into nothing but failure,
Drops like the rain, flows, and fades
It’s bizarre to witness a fake smile appears
At a time when the innocents are shedding tears
To watch the man who wears a mask
Too afraid of showing up his face
Blaming others with negligible problems to ask
Threatening the poor without leaving a trace
Preaching us with his lies
To spot a girl on the street, she strives
Too scared of having ‘school’ in beat
Working day and night to survive
Starving for food to eat
Dying for a place to live
To see the woman who fights for liberty
Too anxious to be chained, tied
Wonders to be a bird that travels across islands, freely
To speak up and say ‘This is my life and I have rights to ride!’
Yet it’s not her time to be lucky
Maybe this is where justice lies
For the people who are blinded by their significance
Those who deliberately close both of their eyes
But, justice that once I knew seems far in distance
At that moment I woke up and realized,
The word ‘justice’ never exists!
And it will never be, until we dare to admit our insignificance
This is life… that’s all I can say
Life is about journey
So many mysteries that cannot be solved
So many uncertainties that cannot be unfold
And so many words that cannot be told
Sometimes, we can see the path as clear as the crystal sea
We can see the future shines, As the light at the end of a tunnel shows what we will be
But maybe there’s this time, when we got no signs
And our hope seems to be obscure
It never glows like a rusty blade
When our struggle turns into nothing but failure,
